The Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Kathmandu has been operating in Nepal since 1979. The Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Kathmandu moved to a new building at Kamal Pokhari in 1993. The Centre has gained popularity among citizens of Nepal particularly residents of Kathmandu Metropolitan City as a bridge of friendship between the peoples of Nepal and Russia with two way traffic.A talk programme on "Federalism in Russia: An experience and Practices" Russian Centre of Science and Culture and Nepal Council of World Affairs jointly organized a talk programme "Federalism in Russia: An experience and Practices" on 19th August.
