Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Katmandu offers a variety of Russian language courses:

This course comprises the basics of Russian: pronunciation, simple intonation patterns, grammar, reading and conversation on the elementary level, acquisition of a basic vocabulary. This course is for those, who want to improve their skills in reading, speaking and conversation.

The training is conducted by qualified and experienced linguists from Russia.
Participants will be issued a Certificate only after completion of the course and examinations.

Documents required at the time of admission are:
1.  Application form duly filled up
2. Two passport size photographs
3. The fee - Rs. 3500 (includes a book worth Rs. 400)

The following courses are offered:
1) Basic Course:
    a)Elementary Level (Duration: 6 weeks)
    b)Basic Level (Duration: 6 weeks)

2) Advanced Course:
Course provides more detailed study of Russian grammar. Special attention is devoted to the expansion of vocabulary.
- After completion of Elementary Level & Basic Level (Duration of 12 weeks)

100 hours package course of Russian Language for Tourist Guides
Russian Centre of Science and Culture announces new admission in russian Language Courses specially designed for Tourist Guides and Tour Operators handling Russian toursits coming to Nepal.
- Duration of course: 100 hours (20 weeks)
- Cost of Course: NRs. 10,000

About Russian Language Class:
-   The classes will be conducted for five days (Monday to Friday)
-   One hour long class will be conducted during these days.
-   The classes are conducted (any one hour of the day) from 7: 00 am to 5: 00 pm.
-   A new session starts from the beginning of every first month.

Registration for the course is now open at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 hours.
