Russian Center of Science & Culture Kathmandu held a meeting with Nepalese graduates from Peoples' Friendship University of Russia on 11th November. Ministers of Nepal government, head of the Universities and colleges, doctors, engineers, writers who were graduated from the Russian university took part in the meeting. During the meeting, graduates remembered their time which they spent in the Russian University. The Russian University has played a major role in the preparation of Nepalese professionals and specialists who now occupy prominent positions in various spheres of public life.  

Participants discussed on the celebration of 50th anniversary of Peoples' Friendship University of Russia and the different programmes to be jointly organized by RCSC, Mitrakunj and Kathmandu University to mark this occasion. On this occasion, RCSC will organize different photo exhibitions and film shows. The delegations from Peoples' Friendship University of Russia will hopefully arrive in Kathmandu to take part in several programmes.

 A photo exhibition on “Students Life in PFUR” was inaugurated and documentary film about the Peoples' Friendship University was also screened on the same day.
