On the occasion of the Day of Family, Love & Fidelity in Russia the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) organized a photo exhibition on “Family in Russia” on 8th of July, 2010 at the RCSC building.

All the staffs of the RCSC & peoples from various sectors attended and view the programme.

The Day of Family is a very young holiday in Russia. It was firstly marked on the 8th of July 2008 as the year 2008 was declared the year of family.  The objective of the day is to unite and integrate the family since the family is a source of love, understanding and respect. It makes peoples lives emotionally and spiritually fuller. Now days the majority of Russian women are family oriented.  The programme was successful which aimed at strengthening the bond of the family, the values that come along with it and to settle the moral problems existing in our society.
