The Theatre Group – Shaili (the style) in association with Russian Cultural Center Kathmandu organized a drama show "Vhoko Ghar (Hungry House)" on December 28. Similarly, RCSC also organized a film show “Amphibian Man”. Both programs were organized to mark the end of the Year of Youth in Russia 2009. Students from different institutions, universities, teaching staff and other guests were invited to take part in the closing ceremony.
Young artists from Shaili played their roles so perfectly with high professional impression. The audiences also accompanied them with great applause throughout the whole play. The main idea of this drama show was to bring out the famous works of the Nepali writer Govinda malla Gothale “Vhoko Ghar (Hungry House)” to the participants. The programme was featured in different TV channels including “Sagarmath” and “ABC”.
To mark the same occasion, the next day RCSC organized a film show “Amphibian Man”. Arseny Starkov, Programme co-ordinator of RCSC addressed the guests with a report on the activities of RCSC in 2009, especially about the main activites of the Year of Youth in Russia 2009 and he also wished a very Happy New Year 2010.
